As an associate in a large firm, Bill has been fortunate to work as an interior designer on numerous award-winning projects.  As a result, many have been featured in trade and consumer print and online publications, and on television.
MIRABELLA - Portland, Oregon
As featured in the Wall Street Journal.  A 280-unit urban Senior Housing project with 30 stories.  The first LEED Platinum CCRC in the country, Mirabella provides all levels of senior care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services.  Winner of numerous local, regional, national, and international design awards, including the prestigious 2007 Design for Aging Merit Award given by the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Salishan Lodge and Spa - Gleneden Beach, Oregon
As seen in Hospitality Design Magazine, April 2006.  Interior design services for the refurbishment of a variety of functions at this five-star destination resort.  Work included the Sunroom Restaurant, three suites remodel involving new layout, baths, finishes, and furniture, and the Longhouse Conference Center.  Winner of the International Interior Design Association Honor Award 2005, Excellence in Hospitality Design 2006 Gold Key Award Finalist.  Chosen one of Travel & Leisure Magazine's Top 300 resorts in the world.
HOTEL LUCIA - Portland, Oregon
A $3 million update of the historic Imperial Hotel to become Portland's hippest and finest hotel.  Excellence in Hospitality Design 2002 Gold Key Award Finalist.  In more than 30 publications worldwide, including the book, Hip Hotels USA, Conde Nast's Top 80 Hotels in the World, Travel & Leisure's World's Best Hotels, Elle Decor, Hospitality Design Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, and Sunset.

The master plan for this CCRC provides the full spectrum of choices in retirement living and health care facilities, with activity rooms, meeting & dining rooms, library, deli, fitness center, pool, and underground parking.  Inspired by Bernard Maybeck and the California Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century, the interior design features extensive use of wood architectural details and furnishings.  Winner of the 2000 International Interior Design Association Merit Award and Excellence in Hospitality Design 2000 Gold Key Award Finalist.

ELLEVEN CONDOMINIUMS - Los Angeles, California
LUMA CONDOMINIUMS - Los Angeles, California
A loft condominium building with 19 stories and 236 units, 4 levels of parking, 4,500 sq. ft. of retail space, 5 live/work townhouses, and 231 loft-style residences, some of which front a shared outdoor terrace.  Luma was the second LEED Gold certified building in California.  Winner of the Mixed-Use Building 2008 Multi-Housing News Design Excellence Awards, 2008 Outstanding Architecture in Green Building 38th Los Angeles Buisness Council Architecture Awards, 2008 Best Multi-Family High-Rise 38th Los Angeles Business Council Architecture Awards.
A 13-story, 242,570 sq. ft. mixed-use tower in downtown L.A.  This high-profile project consists of 124 loft-style units, 5 townhouse live-work units, 5,800 sq. ft. of ground floor retail, a common rooftop terrace garden, and a 4-story parking garage.  Elleven was the first LEED Gold condominium in California and sold out in just 2 days, well before construction was complete.  Winner of the 2007 Best Multi-Family High-Rise 37th Los Angeles Business Council Architecture Awards and the Gold Nugget Award of Merit, Best Mixed-Use Project 2007.
