BLACK BOTTLE RESTAURANT - Seattle, Washington
The design team used texture creatively throughout the space, adding life and bisual interest to the neutral color palette.  Lighting, furniture, and accessories were chosen to appear as if they had been collected over a number of years, rather than all at once.  To further a sense of craftsmanship and authenticity, the designers and owners collaborated with a metal artisan to fabricate elements, such as window frames, by hand.  Instead of using mass-produced materials, the fireplace and niche behind the bar exude an artisanal touch with their hand-applied finishes.

A $2 million interior remodel involving extensive upgrades to all the major public spaces of the building while reinforcing and enhancing the resort's rustic character.  This included the entry, lobby, registration area, lounge, restaurant, gift shop, golf proshop, main public circulation areas, and conference rooms.  Designed all specialty light fixtures and furnishings.
Work involved the unique design character of this 4,500 sq. ft. restaurant loosely based on the theme of Asian meets Italian meets Industrial Chic.  It incorporates vivid colors, modern furniture, custom detailing of innovative lighting fixtures in collaboration with a local Vietnamese artist, and traditional tables imported from China.  The front facade has roll-up garage doors that open the entire dining area to a wide plaza adjacent to the light rail stop.  Tall, beamed ceilings and rustic wood floors complete the look.
Interior design and detailing of a 4,500 sq. ft. restaurant.  The interiors feature a traditional Thai theme highlighting textures, colors, artwork with Northwest stone and wood detailing.  The perimeter has full-height garage doors which extend dining to the exterior.
